“It’s More Than Just a Game” is a short film that dives deeper into the emotions behind gaming and how it affects the players. The film features Kirkland Dent and Chris Payne. Dent is the first time tournament organizer of the inaugural Isekai fighting game tournament. Dent gives insight about the “chess” match that fighting games have become.The film also follows Payne throughout the Street Fighter section of the tournament and how the game has had an impact on him.
